Since 2005, Dan Boxer has been building bicycle frames. He learned the craft at the United Bicycle Institute. As an avid randonneur and bicycle tourist, Dan knows what he wants in a “real world” bicycle. Boxer Bicycles LLC was launched in March 2009 with the help of Washington CASH and Dan’s business partner and wife, Katie Pencke.
Dan rode a Boxer Bicycle to third place in the Oregon Manifest Constructor’s Race in October 2009. This bicycle was reviewed by Bicycle Quarterly in the Winter 2009 issue.
