Check out the latest issue of paved Magazine, from the editors of Bike, that classic publication full of dirt-oriented cycling, for a very nice piece about the new-wave U.S. Constructeurs. The article profiles such superb builders as Peter Wiegle, Tony Pereira, Mitch Pryor, Steve Hampsten, Mark Nobilette and Mike Kone, and, if I may say so, myself.
I’m honored to be included in the same sentence as these guys, let alone enjoy a lovely display of my bikes and history in this new quality magazine. Each builder gets plenty of ink to talk about their passions for Constructeur bicycles, old and new.
It was fun learning something new about each of these builders. The article is accompanied by lovely photographs, including a few great shop shots – always interesting to the geekiest of bike geeks, myself a proud member.
I know this is horribly stale news, but there’s bound to be someone out there that wasn’t aware of this.
