Not only is Vinny the most smiley person I’ve met, and one of the most enthusiastic randonneurs I know and a person that always seems to be volunteering at a control on any brevet I seem to ride these days, but this guy has a way with words. It doesn’t hurt that he’s selected these words to write about his new Boxer Travel Randonneur, either.
Since Vinny picked up his bike a few weeks ago, I haven’t seen him. In fact, we were playing email tag for a little while because I still need to get him his second tail light for the bike, but we haven’t pulled that together yet. I was hoping to get a little feedback about his new bike, but I figured “He’s a busy guy. Give him some time and he’ll get back to me when he can.” In my heart of hearts, I knew he was just riding his bike any time he wasn’t working, but no word for so long and you start to wonder, you know?
Well, the wait was worth it. He really was riding the bike when ever he wasn’t working and was taking time to formulate his impressions of his new bike.
