Greg is another local guy who rides a lot. He wanted to try out the Rohloff dischub on this bike, so we went with an eccentric bottom bracket to help maintain those fenderlines.
There are a ton of little details on this bike (like all Boxer’s, really) that all contribute to a smooth, fast, go nearly anywhere bike that lets Greg take things along with him or pick them on the ride. This bike might be used for weekend credit card tours or some brevets with the local Randonneuring club.
The wide 700c tires don’t limit the kinds of roads he’ll ride it on, so it’s sure to see some fire roads and double track in the mountains. It will also see a lot of commuting miles through cold rain and dark winter mornings. Good times.
